Hello to all my catechists and assistants,
I am re-attempting to begin my column on this website for you all to check out and read. I have a lot of major announcements coming up for you.
- The Spring Sacraments Schedule is nearly finalized, here are the following dates in which Sacraments will take place. Information sessions will be scheduled throughout the end of February and beginning of March.
o April 16th – Catechumens, they are not Baptized, and need to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
o June 4th – Candidates who need to receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist and Confirmation in the Middle School and High School Level.
o June 11th – First Holy Communion Date (6B and 5B)
o June 18th – First Holy Communion Date (4B and 3B)
- The Faith Formation Office will be closed from February 17th till February 25th. I will be available to reach via phone call for you starting February 23rd. I will be taking a quick vacation to Mexico over President’s Day Weekend.
- Ash Wednesday, which marks the first day of Lent is on March 2, 2022. I will send you the official St. Leo Schedule regarding that day soon so you can pass along to your families and your students.
- Please remember that we will not have class on the following days this month.
o Sunday Mornings – February 20th
o Tuesday Nights – February 22nd
o Saturday Mornings – February 19th
- In your emails you should have gotten an invitation for a FORMED Orientation on February 14th at 7:30 PM. I had mentioned before that FORMED is an online platform filled with a lot of Catholic Content which you can use to enrich your personal faith and also be used as a tool that can enhance your classes. The platform is free to use at no cost to you. Your students will be able to make accounts as well. I hope to announce this platform soon to the entire parish.
- If you choose to make a change in your teaching arrangement, please let me know in advance.
I just want to say to you all that I am proud of the flexibility and patience you have shown to the program. The strength of your faith was shown these past few weeks and wow! Thank you all for what you do. I hope to see you all in person soon!

Estoy intentando nuevamente comenzar mi columna en este sitio web para que todos ustedes puedan ver y leer. Tengo muchos anuncios importantes para ti.
- El Horario de Sacramentos de Primavera está casi finalizado, aquí están las siguientes fechas en las que se llevarán a cabo los Sacramentos. Las sesiones informativas se programarán a finales de febrero y principios de marzo.
o 16 de abril – Catecúmenos, no están Bautizados y necesitan recibir el Sacramento de la Eucaristía y/o Confirmación.
o 4 de junio – Candidatos que necesiten recibir el Sacramento de la Eucaristía y la Confirmación en el Nivel Secundario y Secundario.
o 11 de junio – Fecha de la Primera Comunión (6B y 5B)
o 18 de junio – Fecha de la Primera Comunión (4B y 3B)
- La Oficina de Formación de Fe estará cerrada del 17 al 25 de febrero. Estaré disponible para comunicarme con usted a través de una llamada telefónica a partir del 23 de febrero. Me tomaré unas vacaciones rápidas en México durante el fin de semana del Día del Presidente.
- El Miércoles de Ceniza, que marca el primer día de Cuaresma, es el 2 de marzo de 2022. Pronto les enviaré el horario oficial de St. Leo con respecto a ese día para que puedan transmitirlo a sus familias y estudiantes.
- Por favor recuerda que no tendremos clase los siguientes días de este mes.
o Domingos por la mañana – 20 de febrero
o Martes por la noche – 22 de febrero
o Sábados por la mañana – 19 de febrero
- En sus correos electrónicos debería haber recibido una invitación para una Orientación FORMED el 14 de febrero a las 7:30 p.m. Mencioné antes que FORMED es una plataforma en línea llena de mucho contenido católico que puede usar para enriquecer su fe personal y también como una herramienta que puede mejorar sus clases. La plataforma es de uso gratuito sin costo alguno para usted. Sus estudiantes también podrán hacer cuentas. Espero anunciar pronto esta plataforma a toda la parroquia.
- Si elige hacer un cambio en su arreglo de enseñanza, hágamelo saber con anticipación.
Solo quiero decirles a todos que estoy orgulloso de la flexibilidad y la paciencia que le han mostrado al programa. La fuerza de su fe se mostró estas últimas semanas y ¡guau! Gracias a todos por lo que hacéis. ¡Espero verlos a todos en persona pronto!
